Our Company Story

In 2007 Elna founded the business, Esterhuizen Consulting, where she focused on Executive, Senior, Junior and Middle management, as well as graduate assessments and talent management. Change management, organisational development and coaching were added to the portfolio of services.

In April 2016 Daniel joined the business which took Esterhuizen Coaching and Consulting to another level of service delivery and solution design; combining our engineering and psychology mind-sets results in integrated business solutions and value-add.

Given the growth in our business, we registered Esterhuizen Coaching and Consulting as a private company in 2018.

Daniel Esterhuizen

Owner, Business coach & consultant

Daniel obtained a B.Eng. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, MBA and a B.Phil. in Knowledge and Informations management.

Daniel brings over 27 years of senior management experience in Information and Communications Technologies (ICT). Throughout his career, he has focused on strategy development and execution, successfully establishing and overseeing multiple Programme Management Offices (PMOs) responsible for driving corporate strategy, business re-engineering, customer experience enhancements, and change management initiatives. In 2014, he received the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) award for his role in leading a transformation programme that reduced the company’s operational expenditure (OPEX) by over R760 million annually.

Since 2016, Daniel has leveraged his extensive expertise as an experienced business coach, offering tailored and specialised small business coaching.

Elna Esterhuizen

Owner, Industrial psychologist & coach

Elna is a registered Industrial Psychologist (PS59668), a HR Consultant, Religious Specialist in Christian Pastoral Counselling (D185/18) and Life Coach (GAEST-3777).

She managed an Aptitude Testing Unit and provided Learning and Development services to various departments within the Gold mining industry. She worked as a Business Process Re-Engineering Consultant at Knox D’Arcy, focusing on business improvement and optimisation. As a Consulting Psychologist, she worked for ABI, responsible for recruitment, selection and talent management. At SAB Miller she was responsible for talent management for Sales, Distribution and Marketing, across the Beer and Soft drinks businesses. She has extensive experience working with and at the level of directors. She has implemented talent management throughout a business, contributing to the culture and organisational job fit changes that contributed to organisational growth. Working and consulting in various industries gives her a proclivity towards understanding the different business context and developing tailored solutions that support the achievement of business objectives.
